American Association of University Women, Cody

WELCOME to AAUW Cody, Wyoming, advancing the interests of women and girls in Cody and the surrounding area through fund raising for scholarships and education. Our monthly programs are designed to help us learn more about our local institutions, topics of current interest, and issues facing us and our families. We also promote fellowship and team involvement with gourmet dinners, wine tastings, and a book group.

Our National Mission
Advancing equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy, and research.

The American Association of University Women (AAUW) is the nation’s leading voice promoting equity and education for women and girls. Since our founding in 1881, AAUW members have examined and taken positions on the fundamental issues of the day — educational, social, economic, and political.

AAUW/CODY serves an area lying across the eastern gateway to Yellowstone National Park, extending from the gate some 70 miles to the east and encompassing the town of Cody, the ranching and farming families to the south and north and the high desert plains of the Big Horn Basin. Our members live within sight of some of the most scenic views in America where populations of wildlife and livestock far outnumber the human.
